Na mieste dnešnej Cukrárne Kormuth sa tradícia cukrárenského remesla píše už viac než sto rokov. Pôvodnú cukráreň založila rodina Sturtzer a po období znárodnenia ju dlhé roky prevádzkovalo mesto. Čas však na priestore zanechal svoje stopy a pre rozsiahlu opotrebovanosť musela byť cukráreň uzavretá.
Nový život jej vdýchla rodina Kormuth, podľa ktorej nesie cukráreň svoje meno dodnes. Citlivá a mimoriadne náročná rekonštrukcia trvala viac než pätnásť rokov. Jej cieľom nebolo vytvoriť len elegantný priestor, ale obnoviť atmosféru dávnej Bratislavy a zachovať ducha miesta s úctou k jeho histórii.
Dnes sa v priestoroch nachádzajú pôvodné historické klenby, starožitný neorenesančný nábytok z 19. storočia a vzácne umelecké artefakty zo 16. až 19. storočia. Každý salón rozpráva vlastný príbeh starej Bratislavy a čias Rakúsko-Uhorskej monarchie. Renesančné maľby, historické detaily a autentická atmosféra vytvárajú jedinečný návrat do minulosti.
Cukráreň Kormuth je miestom, kde sa gastronómia stretáva s umením. Dezerty a koláče sa denne pripravujú vo vlastnej výrobni priamo v priestoroch cukrárne z najkvalitnejších surovín a s dôrazom na remeselnú precíznosť, estetiku a chuť. The tradition of confectionery craftsmanship at the site of today's Konditorei Kormuth dates back more than a hundred years. The original confectionery was founded by the Sturtzer family, and after the period of nationalisation it was run for many years by the city. Time, however, left its marks on the premises and, due to extensive wear, the confectionery had to be closed.
New life was breathed into it by the Kormuth family, after whom the confectionery is named to this day. The sensitive and exceptionally demanding restoration took more than fifteen years. Its aim was not merely to create an elegant space, but to revive the atmosphere of old Bratislava and preserve the spirit of the place with respect for its history.
Today, the premises feature original historical vaults, antique Neo-Renaissance furniture from the 19th century, and precious artistic artefacts from the 16th to 19th centuries. Each salon tells its own story of old Bratislava and the era of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Renaissance paintings, historical details and an authentic atmosphere create a unique journey back in time.

Desserts and cakes are prepared daily in our own confectionery workshop right on the premises, using the finest ingredients and with an emphasis on artisanal precision, aesthetics and taste. Am Standort der heutigen Konditorei Kormuth reicht die Tradition des Konditoreihandwerks bereits mehr als hundert Jahre zurück. Die ursprüngliche Konditorei wurde von der Familie Sturtzer gegründet und nach der Verstaatlichung lange Zeit von der Stadt betrieben. Die Zeit hinterließ jedoch ihre Spuren, und aufgrund der erheblichen Abnutzung musste die Konditorei geschlossen werden.
Neues Leben hauchte ihr die Familie Kormuth ein, nach der die Konditorei bis heute ihren Namen trägt. Die behutsame und außerordentlich anspruchsvolle Renovierung dauerte mehr als fünfzehn Jahre. Ziel war es nicht nur, einen eleganten Raum zu schaffen, sondern auch die Atmosphäre des alten Pressburg wiederzubeleben und den Geist des Ortes mit Achtung vor seiner Geschichte zu bewahren.
Heute befinden sich in den Räumlichkeiten ursprüngliche historische Gewölbe, antike Neorenaissance-Möbel aus dem 19. Jahrhundert sowie wertvolle Kunstartefakte aus dem 16. bis 19. Jahrhundert. Jeder Salon erzählt seine eigene Geschichte aus dem alten Pressburg und der Zeit der Österreichisch-Ungarischen Monarchie. Renaissance-Malereien, historische Details und die authentische Atmosphäre schaffen eine einzigartige Reise in die Vergangenheit.

En el lugar donde hoy se encuentra la Confitería Kormuth, la tradición del oficio confitero se remonta a más de cien años. La confitería original fue fundada por la familia Sturtzer y, tras el periodo de nacionalización, fue gestionada durante muchos años por la ciudad. Sin embargo, el tiempo dejó sus huellas en el local y, debido a su gran deterioro, la confitería tuvo que cerrar.
Una nueva vida le insufló la familia Kormuth, en cuyo honor la confitería lleva su nombre hasta hoy. La restauración, sensible y excepcionalmente exigente, duró más de quince años. Su objetivo no era simplemente crear un espacio elegante, sino restablecer la atmósfera de la antigua Bratislava y preservar el espíritu del lugar con respeto por su historia.
Hoy, en los salones se conservan bóvedas históricas originales, mobiliario neorrenacentista del siglo XIX y valiosos objetos artísticos de los siglos XVI al XIX. Cada salón narra su propia historia de la vieja Bratislava y de la época de la Monarquía Austrohúngara. Pinturas renacentistas, detalles históricos y una atmósfera auténtica crean un viaje único hacia el pasado.
